Information Security Manager - Insurance - London, City

Joining this Lloyd's Insurance Broker in the City of London as an Information Security Manager, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding systems and data. You will implement information security strategy to ensure the organisations security evolves in line with every-changing threats and regulatory requirements.

The Information Security Manager will support the day-to-day operations of the team to ensure security controls are functioning effectively across the business, conducting comprehensive risk assessments.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys both strategic thinking and rolling up your sleeves.

Key deliverables:-

• Implement information security strategy to ensure controls are matured and effectively designed to address present and future cyber threats, as well as regulatory requirements
• Strong understanding of the business impact of security tools, technologies and policies
• Ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience required:-

• Previous experience working in the Financial Services industry, preferably Insurance is essential
• Previous management experience in an Information Security role
• Experience working with Cyber Essentials, GDPR and preferably DORA, ISO27001/NIST CSF
• Experience working in a regulated industry - financial/pharmaceutical - large volumes of data
• Experience working with auditors or regulators
