Infrastructure Engineer - 3 Month ContractSheffield Competitive Day RateElevation Recruitment Group's Tech & Transformation division are looking for a hands-on Infrastructure Engineer to support a key client on a short-term engagement. This is a role for someone who can operate independently, take ownership, and bring deep expertise in Microsoft Azure and Aruba networking.You'll be maintaining and improving a blended cloud and on-prem environment, keeping operations stable while driving key infrastructure projects. This is a fast-paced, highly technical role where your knowledge directly ensures smooth, reliable operations.

Duties & Responsibilities of the Infrastructure Engineer:

• Supporting and optimising Azure infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, identity, monitoring)
• Configuring, troubleshooting, and enhancing Aruba switches
• Ensuring seamless integration between cloud services and on-prem networking
• Applying networking fundamentals across routing, VLANs, TCP/IP, and firewall principles
• Providing senior-level technical support in a dynamic project environment

Skills & Experience required:

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure core services
• Proven expertise with Aruba networking hardware
• Strong grounding in networking fundamentals
• Ability to work autonomously and deliver results quickly
