We are looking for a highly capable Senior Business Analyst to lead critical mortgage origination transformations. If you have a deep understanding of the mortgage life cycle and a proven track record of optimizing underwriting and credit decisioning processes, this role offers the chance to shape the future state of our lending capabilities. You will act as the crucial bridge between operational policy and technical delivery, ensuring new solutions are robust, compliant, and ready for market.

Core Responsibilities

• Process Optimization: Complete rigorous analysis on current and future state credit and underwriting processes, controls, and decisioning journeys. Provide actionable input and challenge existing structures to optimize operational performance.

• Solution Definition: Define comprehensive solution scopes and acceptance criteria specifically for the Back Office processing of mortgage origination applications.

• Policy Integration: Interpret complex credit policy and ensure it is traceably Embedded within both the process and technical design of the final solution.

• Delivery Support: Actively support the design, testing, and implementation phases of transformed credit and underwriting solutions.

• Change Management: Drive business readiness activities for transformation initiatives, ensuring the operation is fully equipped to transition to new technology and capabilities smoothly.

Your Expertise

• Subject Matter Expert: Extensive experience as a Business Analyst within the mortgage sector, specifically delivering mortgage origination transformations.

• Underwriting Knowledge: Highly desirable experience working directly with underwriting and credit decisioning workflows.

• Commercial Agility: Demonstrated success driving delivery in fast-paced, private-sector financial services or lending environments. You thrive in dynamic settings that require rapid adaptation and execution.

• Stakeholder Management: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical and process changes to both operational teams and technical developers.
