| Description: | Senior Linux Engineer Location: Glasgow (Preferred) or Newcastle Upon Tyne Salary: Up to £65,000 Working Pattern: Hybrid working with client-site attendance as required We are seeking an experienced Senior Linux Engineer to join a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineering team responsible for supporting and evolving critical enterprise platforms within a large-scale, complex technology environment. The team is responsible for a substantial Linux server estate alongside supporting technologies including VMware, F5 Load Balancing, Infoblox DNS and a suite of internally developed automation tools used to manage and maintain the wider infrastructure platform. This role has been created to support a major programme of infrastructure modernisation, with a particular focus on improving the organisation's ability to perform operating system upgrades, vulnerability remediation and platform lifecycle management through automation at scale. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with strong Linux expertise who enjoys combining infrastructure operations, automation and platform engineering. Location & Travel
