Description:	Territory Sales Manager Scotland Central Belt / Field Based Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 + Commission Location: Scotland - 5 days per week in the field Sector: Garden Centres, Farm Shops & Independent Retail Talent Guardian is partnering with an established and growing fine food wholesaler and manufacturer to recruit an experienced Territory Sales Manager to develop and grow its customer base across Scotland. Our client supplies independent, regional and national retailers with an extensive portfolio of high-quality fine foods, confectionery, gifting and seasonal products. With a broad product range covering cakes, traybakes, preserves, chutneys, condiments, sauces, confectionery and gifting, this is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven salesperson to represent an established portfolio while developing valuable customer relationships across the Scottish market. Alongside a competitive salary, commission and bonus package, benefits include: Company car Staff purchase scheme 4-weekly pay 30 days' holiday including bank holidays, with the option to purchase up to 3 additional days Christmas shutdown Employer pension contributions The Role This is a field-based sales position covering Scotland and would suit someone experienced in selling into trade customers such as garden centres, farm shops, gift shops, independent retailers, multiples and foodservice businesses. You'll be responsible for: Managing and developing an established portfolio of customer accounts Identifying and prospecting new customers across your territory Winning new business and building long-term commercial relationships Growing sales within existing accounts Introducing customers to new product launches and seasonal ranges Maximising opportunities across the wider product portfolio Building strong relationships with buyers and key decision-makers Managing your territory effectively and working towards agreed sales targets Identifying commercial opportunities and delivering profitable solutions Producing sales reports and maintaining accurate account information About You We're looking for someone who is: An experienced field sales professional with a strong commercial mindset Confident, articulate and able to build rapport with customers quickly Proactive and comfortable developing new business Experienced in managing and growing customer accounts Target-driven with a proven track record of delivering sales results Commercially aware and able to identify profitable opportunities Organised and confident managing your own territory and diary Analytical, with strong account management and reporting skills Self-motivated and comfortable working independently while contributing to a wider team Flexible and adaptable in a fast-moving sales environment Experience selling into garden centres, farm shops, gift shops or independent retailers would be a significant advantage. Experience within fine food, confectionery, FMCG or other relevant product-led sales environments would also be highly desirable. Interested?
