We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and evolution of enterprise-scale data, integration, and AI platforms across cloud environments.

This is a strategic architecture role where you will shape solution options, define target-state architectures, and drive architectural decisions across multiple delivery teams. You'll be responsible for ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, governed, and aligned with long-term technology roadmaps while enabling advanced analytics, AI, and digital transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise across data platforms, APIs, cloud architecture, and AI capabilities, combined with a proven ability to translate complex business requirements into practical enterprise solutions.

• Define and own end-to-end solution architecture for enterprise data, integration, API, and AI platforms.

• Shape solution options and target-state architectures aligned to strategic business objectives.

• Design scalable cloud-native solutions across Azure and AWS environments.

• Establish architecture standards, governance processes, and delivery guardrails.

• Define integration, data, and event-driven architecture patterns.

• Lead architectural reviews and provide technical leadership across multiple teams.

• Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, resilience, performance, and scalability requirements.

• Drive data governance, data quality, metadata, and lineage best practices.

• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into sustainable architecture solutions.

• Define technology roadmaps and evaluate emerging technologies, including AI and agentic capabilities.

• Produce and maintain architecture documentation, standards, decision records, and reference models.

• Mentor engineering teams and promote architecture best practices across the organisation.

• 15+ years' experience within software engineering, solution architecture, or enterprise technology environments.

• Proven experience delivering end-to-end architecture for data, API, integration, and AI platforms.

• Strong experience designing target-state architectures and enterprise technology roadmaps.

• Extensive experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms.

• Expertise in modern data architectures including Data Lakes, Lakehouse patterns, and enterprise analytics platforms.

• Strong understanding of data modelling, data warehousing, and large-scale data platform design.

• Experience with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, dbt, Airflow, PySpark, and SQL.

• Knowledge of streaming and event-driven architectures using technologies such as Kafka and Event Hub.

• Experience defining governance, security, compliance, and non-functional requirements.

• Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.

• Experience working within Agile delivery environments and distributed global teams.

• Experience with Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI.

• Knowledge of vector databases, embeddings, semantic search, and modern AI architecture patterns.

• Exposure to Generative AI and agentic AI solutions.

• Databricks or cloud architecture certifications.

• Experience working within multi-cloud environments, including Azure, AWS, and GCP.
