Technical Project Manager - Telecom OSS, Network Delivery, Technical Project Management - Newbury, UK
A global organisation are seeking an experienced Onsite Technical Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of OSS and network technology projects.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in technical project delivery and system integration, preferably within Telecom OSS and Network environments, with a solid understanding of stakeholder management, network change control, release management, cybersecurity, and project financial governance.
This will be a permanent position based in Newbury, UK Key Responsibilities:
- Lead multiple OSS and Network projects from design through implementation and operational acceptance.
- Manage scope, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions, changes, and mitigation plans.
- Drive project governance, steering committees, reporting, and stakeholder communications.
- Coordinate Business Sponsors, Architects, SMEs, Engineering, Operations, Cyber Security, and Compliance teams.
- Manage project financials, forecasting, cost tracking, vendors, and suppliers.
- Support network change control, release management, implementation, rollout, deployment, and go-live activities.
- Manage Comms Matrices and implementation-window communications.
- Ensure projects meet quality, security, compliance, budget, and delivery requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement across project delivery processes.
Key Skills Required: - Strong Technical Project Management, Technical Delivery, and System Integration experience.
- Strong Telecom OSS and Network expertise; OSS experience is highly desirable.
- Experience delivering large-scale transformation projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience with MS Project (MPP), Pega, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Strong stakeholder, risk, issue, dependency, change, vendor, and supplier management skills.
- Experience with Cyber Security, Architecture, compliance, network change, release, and go-live governance.
- Strong budget, forecasting, financial, and cost management experience.
- Ability to deliver effectively in complex and ambiguous environments.
- PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile/Scrum certification.
- Experience delivering large-scale Telecom OSS, Network, Connectivity, and transformation programmes.
