Technical Delivery Manager - Telecom OSS, Network Delivery - Newbury, UK
A global organisation are seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Manager (TDM) to manage the end-to-end delivery of Telecom OSS and Network projects.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical delivery, system integration, project management, stakeholder, vendor, financial, cybersecurity, and network implementation experience.
This will be a permanent position based in Newbury, UK
Key Responsibilities: - Lead OSS and Network projects from design through implementation and operational acceptance.
- Manage scope, risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions, changes, schedules, and budgets.
- Drive governance, steering committees, reporting, stakeholder communications, and delivery assurance.
- Coordinate Business Sponsors, Architects, SMEs, Engineering, Operations, Cyber Security, and control teams.
- Manage budgets, forecasting, actuals, cost governance, vendors, and suppliers.
- Support network change control, release planning, rollout, deployment, go-live, and implementation governance.
- Manage Comms Matrices and implementation-window communications.
- Ensure delivery meets time, cost, quality, security, and compliance requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes.
Key Skills Required: - Strong Technical Delivery and System Integration experience within Telecom OSS/Network environments.
- Proven project management experience using MS Project (MPP), Pega, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Large-scale technology transformation experience using Agile and Waterfall.
- Strong stakeholder, risk, issue, dependency, change, vendor, and supplier management.
- Experience with network change/release management and implementation.
- Experience working with Cyber Security, Architecture, and compliance/control functions.
- Strong financial, budget, forecasting, and cost management experience.
- Ability to operate in complex and ambiguous environments.
- Vodafone experience highly preferred; strong Telecom/OSS expertise is a key differentiator.
- PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile/Scrum certification.
- Experience delivering large-scale Telecom OSS, Network, Connectivity, and transformation programmes.
