Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing business, supplying and servicing electronic equipment for the leisure and gaming industry across the UK.

They are seeking a Website Designer to join their close-knit team, with the opportunity to grow within the company, both professionally and personally.

Someone who is happy to work predominantly from the office, capable of maintaining confidentiality and regulatory information at all times, and comfortable using modern responsive design techniques (not static breakpoint exports).

Hours and Salary:

• Flexible start and finish times
• 37.5 hours per week (predominantly from the office)
• £26,000 £32,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design responsive web layouts across desktop, tablet, and mobile breakpoints.
• Create new designs and layouts as their product and marketing needs evolve.
• Build and maintain reusable design components and a scalable design system.
• Use modern responsive design techniques (not static breakpoint exports) to simulate real fluid, reflowing behaviour.
• Apply and maintain consistent grid systems, spacing scales, and layout standards across all designs.
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure designs translate accurately into code.
• Conduct user research, wireframing, and prototyping to validate design decisions.
• Maintain consistency with brand guidelines across all web design work.
• Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.

• More in-depth designs and improvement of the designing process.
• Improve the appearance of the web / app-based products.

• Available to consistently work 37.5 hours across 5 days a week.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Proficiency in Figma.
• Basic HTML / CSS understanding (enough to communicate effectively with Developers).
• Communication between different teams.

Experience Needed:

• At least 1 year experience as a Web Designer in a commercial or professional environment.
• Qualifications and evidence of understanding web fundamentals (Nice to have).
