This is a genuine opportunity for an experienced logistics or supply chain sales professional to step away from selling freight, capacity, or rate cards and move into a modern, technology led SaaS sales role. If you understand the logistics, fulfilment, or third-party logistics landscape and want to transition into software sales, this role offers a clear pathway with full training and support. The Opportunity This business operates like a modern SaaS organisation. Sales is supported by automation, data, and a strong marketing engine. Leads are warm, qualified, and intelligently nurtured, allowing you to focus on meaningful commercial conversations rather than constant cold outreach. You will sell a scalable software platform that solves real operational challenges for logistics and ecommerce businesses, moving conversations away from price and into long term value. What you will be doing • Selling a SaaS solution into logistics, fulfilment, 3PL or similar • Managing warm inbound and pre-qualified leads generated through automated campaigns and data driven outreach • Owning the full sales cycle from discovery to close • Transitioning from transactional service sales into consultative, solution led selling • Meeting prospects face to face to build strong, long term commercial relationships • Managing a value led pipeline focused on quality opportunities • Growing and expanding existing accounts where appropriate • Working closely with senior leadership and an experienced major accounts manager • Supporting expansion across the United Kingdom and European markets Who this role is for This role is ideal for a commercially driven salesperson who knows the logistics sector but wants to build a career in SaaS. • Experience in logistics, fulfilment, third party logistics, courier, or supply chain sales • Proven ability to win new business and close deals • Confidence engaging senior decision makers • Commercial and consultative selling approach • Strong interest in technology and software-based solutions • Comfortable using CRM systems and sales tools or keen to learn • Ambitious, driven, and motivated by progression and earnings What s on offer • £43,000 to £50,000 base salary • Uncapped on target earnings of £70,000 to £90,000 • Monthly car allowance • Rolling, cumulative commission structure • Full training and onboarding into SaaS sales • Highly automated sales environment with strong marketing support • A healthy mix of warm and nurtured leads • Clear progression as the business scales • Exposure to national and international markets • A reputable business with a strong product and long-term vision If you are currently selling logistics services and want to step into software sales while leveraging your industry knowledge, this Business Development Manager role offers the perfect transition.
