On behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs we are looking for a Project Manager (ERP & SAP) for a 12 Month contract based in Bristol (3 days per week on-site).

Applicants must actively hold or be eligible to receive SC Clearance.

The Project Manager will work as part of the Applications & Data workstream responsible for the ERP workstream.

The focus of the work is centred around delivering an ERP capability integrated to a wider Engineering Application capability.

You'll have the opportunity to define solutions that overcome complex business needs. Together with the business functions, Global IT, and third-party vendors, you'll have a desire to be part of a collaborative team, taking a holistic approach across the system helping shape strategy, requirements and technology to deliver outstanding results.

What's more, you'll be pivotal in helping to drive forward one of the most exciting products currently in development in the UK.

• Demonstrate knowledge of large-scale SAP/ERP implementations with multiple integrations to other Enterprise systems
• Demonstrate knowledge of implementing upgrades from ECC6 to SAP4HANA
• Ensure Programme Manager and other stakeholders are up to date with project progress on a regular basis.
• Ensure the project is within operating within the governance framework and resolve any problems throughout the project life cycle.
• Work closely with technical architects and business analysts to deliver robust and scalable designs that meet the business needs
• Must comply with security methodologies polices such as NIST CSF, SP800-160, Secure by Design and internal Cyber Security guidelines.
• Maintaining a Project Schedule/WBS - Updating regularly and reporting progress to the PMO, and the Applications and Data Programme Manager.
• Work with project team and stakeholders to complete Project Charter outlining scope, goals, deliverables, budget and timing.
• Work with the IT PMO to ensure that project controls (Plans, RAID, Finance, etc.) are regularly updated and appropriately managed.

Key Criteria

• Demonstrate knowledge of the digital solutions and associated business processes within the Digital Manufacturing domain including MES, IOT, SAP Production Planning (PP)
• Demonstrable IT architecture experience
• Demonstrable service orientated technical leadership
• Demonstrable technical leadership of complex technical and/or professional work activities
• Provide financial reporting data on a regular basis to track expenditure of the projects/programme.
• Providing project oversight identifying gaps and facilitating effective communication channels and escalation paths for project managers, solution architects and senior stakeholders.
