Business Development Manager

Are you an experienced Business Development professional with a strong technical background and a proven track record of winning significant B2B opportunities?

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to help drive the next stage of commercial growth, with a particular focus on expanding into new markets and developing opportunities beyond the company's traditional customer base.

Responsibilities:
As a Business Development Manager you will

• Develop and manage a high-value sales pipeline to achieve ambitious revenue and growth targets
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across technology-led markets
• Research market trends, customer needs, competitor activity and emerging technologies
• Develop clear and compelling value propositions from complex technical solutions
• Work closely with engineering teams to shape solutions around customer requirements

Requirements:
As a Business Development Manager, you will need

• A degree in Engineering, Physics or another relevant technical discipline
• Experience selling complex, technical or consultancy-led solutions within a B2B environment
• A strong understanding of areas such as advanced electronics, wireless communications, sensing or related technologies
• A proven ability to identify and develop new markets and build a significant sales pipeline
• A demonstrable track record of securing £1m+ in new orders per year over a sustained period
• The ability to understand and communicate complex customer, commercial and technical challenges
