Contract Project Manager

MCS Group is looking for a hands-on Project Manager to support the delivery of business and technology change within a busy environment. ERP experience would be beneficial, but we're particularly interested in someone who can bring structure to complex projects, manage stakeholders and keep delivery moving. You will be taking over an ERP upgrade/implementation, with further project work also anticipated.

The Role

• Own project plans, dependencies, actions and decisions
• Manage governance and provide clear Steering Group reporting
• Facilitate workshops around requirements, processes and solutions
• Maintain an end-to-end view of projects, understanding business, technical and data dependencies
• Manage suppliers, testing and delivery activity
• Drive issues and decisions through to resolution
• Work across business and technical teams to maintain alignment

The Person

• You will be operating at mid-senior level in terms of your Project Management experience
• Experience delivering ERP, business systems, data or technology change
• Strong practical PM skills across planning, governance and stakeholder management
• Comfortable working with both technical and business teams
• Good Business Analysis skills, including requirements gathering and process mapping
• BI, reporting or data experience would be highly desirable
• Able to work independently and bring a pragmatic, delivery-focused approach
• ERP experience is preferable but not essential.

Duration: 3 - 6 Months
Location: Greater Belfast
Assignment Rate: £300 - £350 per day (via Umbrella)
